President Poroshenko in response to the growing complaints of the business to shortage of manpower proposes to increase salaries and improve efficiency. He stated this at a meeting with business representatives.
“Begins to grow, the cost of labor. This positive impact of reforms, openness of borders and European choice… Please – pay the workers more!” he said.
Poroshenko said that this year, according to the state statistics service, real wages grew by more than 20%.
In turn, the business representatives urged the President to radical changes in labour laws and the rejection of a large number of administrative procedures in this area.
This Poroshenko said that the government has already demonstrated a willingness to help the business, for example, reducing the single social contribution, and are willing to do so in the future through the revision of labor laws, and creating more favorable conditions for doing business, but is waiting for offers from businesses.
