This was stated by President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko during a meeting with female soldiers and volunteers.

“With these women is our best army in the world is exactly invincible. With these women, I have no doubt, the victory over the enemy, the aggressor and occupier that has invaded our land, is exactly the inevitable”, – said Poroshenko.
According to the President, currently in the Armed Forces undergo military service and has about 54 thousand women, of which nearly 20 thousand military personnel. Poroshenko said that from the beginning of 2017 for military service under the contract came more than a thousand women, more than two thousand of the defenders received the status of combatants.
