Poroshenko discussed with Merkel and Hollande the situation in the Donbass

The President of Ukraine had a phone conversation.

Petro Poroshenko had a phone conversation with Chancellor of Germany Angela Merkel and President of France Francois Hollande. About it reports a press-service of the President.

Poroshenko thanked Merkel and Hollande for his support in the introduction of a visa-free regime for Ukrainians.

Also discussed by telephone the situation in the Donbass. Petro Poroshenko condemned the continuing aggression by Russia and the constant attacks, despite the announcement of ceasefire regime from 1 April.

“The President of Ukraine stressed the importance of the release of all hostages in the occupied Donbas and in Russia”, – reported in a press-service.

The leaders of Ukraine, Germany and France confirmed the importance of further work towards implementation of the Minsk agreements.
