The head of state spoke with the German Chancellor about the situation in the Donbas and Crimea, and the conflict with Russia.
The President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko one of the main topics of the talks with German Chancellor Angela Merkel has called the conflict with Russia. He stated this at the meeting on Thursday, November 1.
“I am convinced that during this visit, Ms. Chancellor, you can see how Ukraine has changed in those four years,” he said, noting that not only changed the situation around Donbass and Crimea.
The President also said that he discussed with the Chancellor the situation in the Donbass and in the Crimea, including in the field of human rights.
In addition, Poroshenko and Merkel condemned the conduct of elections in the uncontrolled parts of the Donetsk and Lugansk regions.
In particular, he stated that “these elections (are) worthless and will never be recognized by the world community”
