Now working in the Prosecutor General’s office Konstantin Kulik anti-corruption agencies suspected of illicit enrichment.
Yesterday, June 28, in honor of Constitution Day, President Petro Poroshenko awarded the order of merit of the III degree of the defendant in the investigation of the National anti-corruption Bureau and the Specialized anticorruption Prosecutor’s office Konstantin Kulik – now Deputy head of the Department of international legal cooperation of the Prosecutor General.
Former Prosecutor of the ATO forces, as stated in the text of the decree of the President No. 168/2017, was recognized for “significant personal contribution to nation-building, socio-economic, scientific-technical, cultural-educational development of Ukraine, significant labor achievements and high professionalism”.
In early 2016 the NAB started investigation into the suspected acquisition of Sandpiper road real estate during his work in the military Prosecutor’s office. He stated that he owns one car and one apartment, which allegedly gave him a mother.
According to investigators, in the period from 2011 to 2015, he received an income of more than UAH 1.67 million. Most of these funds were spent in catering establishments, petrol stations and in shops. In the same period, the costs of the Sandpiper exceeded his income by 2.6 million UAH and amounted to UAH 3.4 million.
Exactly a year ago, detectives came to search his apartment. Kulik that summer promised to give up the status of UBD. At the end of April 2017, he was transferred to work to the GPU.
