The Ministry will administer the Affairs of veterans of the ATO.
President Poroshenko sent to Parliament a proposal for the establishment in Ukraine of the Ministry for issues of veterans of the antiterrorist operation.
“I want to appeal to the Verkhovna Rada and the government with the request to analyze the possibility of creating a Ministry of veterans, because their example should be example for the future generations of defenders of the Motherland”, – quotes the President Interfax-Ukraine.
Also Poroshenko called the number who took part in ATO Ukrainians.
“For two and a half years in the antiterrorist operation involved 300 thousand Ukrainian soldiers”, – said the President.
