Poroshenko announced the beginning of a new era for Ukraine

The President said that June 11 will be the “beginning of a new era of European Ukraine.”

President Petro Poroshenko said that after the entry into force of visa-free regime with the EU, on 11 June, Ukraine will begin a new era.

“Bezviz now is Ukrainian… and on the night of 11 June, this night will be the beginning of a new era of European Ukraine”, – he said in Kiev during the evening-Requiem in memory of victims of genocide of Crimean Tatar people at the National Opera.

He recalled that yesterday, in Strasbourg, had signed a definitive agreement to bezveze of Ukraine with the EU.

“Ukraine now, right now, definitively breaks with the post-Soviet past, becomes part of a single European civilizational space,” he said.
