Poroshenko announced a referendum on joining the EU and NATO

Ukraine is firmly on course for Euro-Atlantic integration, said the President.

The President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko said that in the near future of Ukrainians expect a referendum on entering NATO and the European Union. In addition, the guarantor is confident in their positive results.

He stated this at a ceremony on the occasion of Day of prosecutors.

We firmly set a course towards Euro-Atlantic integration. I do not doubt that in the near future in Ukraine for sure there will be a referendum to join NATO, and I am convinced that the Ukrainian people will support this my initiative,” – he stressed

In addition, the President announced a referendum on membership in the European Union.

“And the results of the voting will be the same convincingly positive, as already inscribed in the annals of history, a referendum on independence,” – said Poroshenko.
