The President of Ukraine and head of the Department of state will coordinate efforts to counter Russia.
The President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko on July 9 of the year will hold a meeting with U.S. Secretary of state Rex Tillerson. About it reports a press-service of the head of state.
“In pursuance of the agreements of presidents of Ukraine and USA on 9 July in Ukraine with the visit the U.S. Secretary Rex Tillerson. In Kiev, the head of foreign policy Department of the USA will be received by President Petro Poroshenko to discuss the issues of strengthening of strategic partnership between Ukraine and the United States and continue coordination of efforts at countering Russian aggression against Ukraine”, – stated in the message.
It is also noted that the parties also consider implementation of the agreements reached during the visit of the Ukrainian President in the USA, 20-21 June.
Earlier media reported that the visit of Rex Tillerson in Ukraine will be short – 2-2.5 hours.
