The German Chancellor will arrive in Kiev for the second time in four years.
President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko on Thursday, November 1, will hold talks with German Chancellor Angela Merkel, according to the website of the head of state on Tuesday, October 30.
During the talks attention will be paid to the situation in the Donbass, Crimea and the sea of Azov and the Kerch Strait.
It is noted that Poroshenko and Merkel will coordinate further joint steps to ensure the implementation of the Minsk agreements.
In addition, it is planned to discuss the issue of European and Euro-Atlantic integration of Ukraine and strengthening Ukraine’s energy security and the EU “as an integral component of European and world security.”
Also during the talks discussed the strengthening of trade-economic and investment cooperation between Ukraine and Germany, as well as to strengthen practical support from the German process of reforms in Ukraine, according to the website of the Ukrainian President.
