Poltava activists caught police officers-bribe during receiving a bribe for not registration Protocol for traffic violations.
The incident occurred on October 8 on the road near Poltava. Driving the car was Burmaka and his car was stopped by an inspector Ivan Shemetun due to no lights. The inspector looked at the driver’s documents and offered to take a company car. From there he received an offer to negotiate and voiced the question price – 200 UAH.
Fixing the number of bills, the driver handed over the money to the inspector. Thereafter, appealed to the leadership of Poltava the police and the internal security of the Channel. Activists tried to block a company car, but police left the fields.
The press service of Poltava regional police reported that the incident is recorded and conducted an internal investigation.
