Poltava oblast: a man with a MOP was beaten to death by lover

The attacker himself called the police and confessed to the murder.

The tragedy happened in lohvica area. On a scene militiamen found out that the 36-year-old local resident, his 22-year-old girlfriend together drank alcoholic beverages. Information shared in National police region.

Suddenly between them there was a quarrel. The man decided to prove his innocence by force and grabbed a MOP, which caused the girl a few blows to the head and torso. This was the cause of death of the victim – she died on the spot.

Law enforcement officers detained the man and seized all evidence. The investigation is still ongoing. Now to the malefactor threatens till fifteen years of imprisonment.
