Polish border guards accuse the Ukrainian side of the border queues

In the Border service of Poland said that the responsibility for the long queues at the border lies on the Ukrainian side.

Significant intensity of border traffic, and therefore queues generated by the citizens of Ukraine who have cars registered outside of Ukraine”, – informed the Polish border guards, and added that the Customs code of Ukraine imposes on them the obligation to leave the territory of Ukraine by car every five days.

It is noted that according to the Ministry of digital technologies of the Republic of Poland as of 30 November 2016 in Poland there were more than 60 thousand car owners whom were citizens of Ukraine.

Only these cars can generate about 4.5 million border crossings, more than half of the total movement of cars on the border with Ukraine,” – noted in the Border service of Poland.

It is noted that queues at the border are also influenced by the “complications of cross-border movement.”

“The vast majority – 64 of the 97 cases that took place this year on the border with Ukraine for complications answered the Ukrainian service at the border,” the Border service of Poland.
