Police have detained suspects in the terrorist attack at the Central station of Brussels

The judicial officer should make the decision to arrest the detainees

During large-scale searches and raids carried out by Belgian police on the evening of 21 June in Brussels blocks Koekelberg, Molenbeek and Anderlecht in the city, arrested four men.

This was announced by General Prosecutor of the country on Thursday, June 22.

The detainees will be brought before the examining magistrate, who will decide about their possible arrest.

All the arrest made in the investigation of the attempted terrorist attack at the Central station of Brussels. The police searched for the suspects in the homes of people who often collaborated with the terrorist.

A Moroccan citizen who tried to blow up the Brussels train station with suitcase filled with nails and gas cartridges, lived in the district of Molenbeek. However the explosive device didn’t work out as planned by the attacker.
