Poland’s President suspended the controversial law

Andrzej Duda decided to listen to his people.

The President of Poland Andrzej Duda withdrew the new draft laws on the Supreme court and the Council of State court proceedings that were presented to them.

This solution Duda was taken after a meeting with leaders of parliamentary factions. He indicated that he will not be able to enlist the support of a parliamentary majority to change the Basic law-espresso.

As you know, in late July, Duda has vetoed controversial laws on the Supreme court and the national judicial Council, adopted by the Senate in judicial reform today introduced its version changes.
