Poland introduces new rules for the employment of Ukrainians

The Declaration on intention to employ a foreigner is introduced to a paid permit for seasonal work

According to her, the Declaration on intention to employ a foreigner, given to the employer free of charge, will be replaced with paid permits for seasonal work, in particular, agriculture, horticulture, tourism and gastronomy industry.

“These permits for seasonal work are of two types: two stages of granting permissions to touch foreigners who are outside Poland, and one step – foreigners who are in Poland and are approved for legal residence on other grounds than seasonal work,” she said.

In the case of foreigners who are outside Poland, the employer will make a statement on the granting of permits for seasonal work. On the basis of this permission, the foreigner will be able to open a visa to Poland. Foreigners holding biometric passports will be able to enter with such a solution in Poland without a visa. The employer is obliged to register the foreign worker in the office.

Earlier it was reported that the Ukrainians in 2016 received a new permit in the EU – 589 thousand, i.e. 17.6% of the total.
