On the border lining up the car queue.
Poland cancelled at informal checkpoints on the Ukrainian-Polish border “green corridor”. This was stated by Minister of foreign Affairs of Ukraine Pavlo Klimkin on Thursday, October 25, at a briefing in Lviv.
According to him, this is one of the reasons for the formation of long traffic queues at the intersection of the Ukrainian-Polish border.
“Do not formally abolished. Poland creates a situation where on the border formed a huge queue. Of course, it is our responsibility, in particular the number of “EuroBLECH”, and we know it. And what to do with truck traffic, buses? Control?” – rhetorically asked Klimkin.
The Minister noted that the mechanisms of border control should be unified, in particular, should be more joint customs and border control.
“Agreement was reached between the Ukraine and Poland that from four to eight will increase the number of checkpoints on Ukrainian-Polish border. The problem of Ukraine is that there is no access road to the settlements”, – said Klimkin.
