The staff of GRU Russian Federation is secretly visited in the Czech Republic.
Two employees of the Russian GRU, accused by Britain in the poisoning of the former officer of the GRU, the double agent Sergei Skripal and his daughter Julia in Salisbury in October 2014 secretly traveled to the Czech Republic. This writes the Český rozhlas.
In the same period in the Czech Republic came Skripal, who, according to information from a source close to the intelligence services, was to meet with Czech officers, whom he allegedly helped in the disclosure of Russian spies. According to the interlocutor, two Russians already watched Skripal.
One of the accused, GRU Colonel Aleksandr Mishkin, were in the Czech Republic under the name Alexander Petrov from October 13 to October 16. He stopped at one of the hotels in Ostrava, and then went to Prague.
The second defendant, Colonel Anatoly Chapiha, arrived in the Czech Republic on 11 October of the same year, according to the material.
According to The New York Times, Skripal secretly, accompanied by representatives of British intelligence MI6, arrived in Prague in 2012. It happened shortly after his wife Lyudmila died of cancer. During a short visit he gave the Czech intelligence information about Russian GRU officers working in Europe.
