Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Andriy paruby predicts the construction of euroklei Lviv – Warsaw (Poland) for 2018.
He stated this at a press briefing following the conference of parliamentary traditions in Central and Eastern Europe.
“The second thing we discussed today, is the construction of euroklei from the border to Lviv, which will give us the opportunity to connect Lviv and Warsaw by rail. Tentatively, we plan that the final stop will be in Ukraine, where people can come in, go through passport control, and without stopping to go to Warsaw,” said he.
According to Parubiy, Minister of infrastructure Vladimir Omelian signed with his Polish counterpart the agreement on the accession of Ukraine to the project Via Carpatia.
“He is at the initial stage was planned through Romania, Hungary, Poland and the Baltic States. Actually, the present agreement between the ministries involves and Ukraine. In particular, the direction from Odessa through Vinnitsa and Lvov with access to this euroban Via Carpatia” – he explained.
Recall that the Ministry of infrastructure considers necessary the appointment of new railway routes in Poland, Slovakia, Hungary, Germany and Romania.
