When removing the chimney at thermal power station in Kyzylorda (the administrative center of the Kyzylorda region of Kazakhstan) there was its collapse on two workers, one of them was hospitalized with injuries, the search for the second continues, told RIA Novosti the official representative of the Committee of emergency situations, Ministry of internal Affairs of Republic Ruslan Imankulov.
“According to preliminary information, may 14, 2017 at 19.00 (16.00 GMT) in the territory of Kyzylorda TPP in the city of Kyzylorda in the works on dismantling of the chimney was its collapse on two workers… One of the workers was hospitalized at the regional medical center, the second worker is under the collapse, rescue efforts continue,” said Imankulov.
According to him, in search and rescue operations involved personnel and equipment task force of the Department of emergency of Kyzylorda region, southern regional airmobile operational and rescue team, fire Service and rescue works of emergency Department of Kyzylorda region.
Currently about 60 people rescue, more than ten pieces of equipment and two cynological calculation.
