The U.S. President several times made the same mistake.
The President of the United States Donald trump tried to write a tweet about the “healing” of the country, but something went wrong: instead of the word “heal” (“healed”) he wrote “heel” (this word has many meanings — from “heel” and “bastard” to “run command “next””).
“Like a dog”
Tweet trump were to sound like this: “Our great country was separated by decades, but she will join again. Sometimes to heal, we need protests, and we will heal!”.
The first tweet by mistake he deleted very quickly, and after half an hour, wrote a new one. It was again says “heel” instead of “heal,” but the President was replaced by “decade”, “decade”.
“Maybe trump wants to be a shoemaker to truly heels to fill”
After six minutes the finally trump wrote a tweet without errors. Now he gets bullied everywhere.
“Spelling — the Achilles heel of trump” (the Achilles heel of the English — Achilles heel; tweet intentional typo)
“No, Mr. trump, we don’t do “near””
Dictionary, Merriam-Webster decided to clarify the difference between three words that sound similar: “heal” — “be healthy again”, “heel” — “despicable person”, “he’ll” “he will”.
