French automaker Peugeot is planning to 2025 to introduce the electric version of the entire line of passenger and commercial vehicles. This was announced by CEO Carlos Tavares at the world Congress Automotive News.
According to him, the company plans to introduce 40 electric vehicles under the brands Peugeot, Citroen, Opel, Vauxhall and DS.
The company plans by 2030 to offer the functions of self-government for 80% of the cars. For 10% of the cars technology will be used 4-th or 5-th level of autonomy, i.e. not requiring driver intervention, the newspaper reports.
