The company Peugeot has started road tests of the 508 sedan of the second generation. Photospin managed to shoot a novelty during the tests in Europe. The images were published by Motor1. The official premiere of the car will take place at the Frankfurt motor show in September this year.
Novelty sales in Europe will begin early next year. The main competitors of the new 508 are referred to as the BMW 3 Series and Volkswagen Arteon.
The sedan will be built on the EMP2 platform. In the design can use a number of design solutions concept car Peugeot Instinct, presented in March at the Geneva motor show. The car will receive a new radiator grille, other bumpers and led optics. All specifications of the model are still kept secret. According to unofficial information, the sedan will get a hybrid modification. The total capacity of the sedan could reach 300 horsepower.
