The company Peugeot has started road tests of the 208 hatchback new generation. Photospies the first time managed to photograph the car during the tests. The images were published by Motor1. It is expected that the car will noticeably increase in size compared to its predecessor and will be higher. The car will be built on a new modular platform EMP1, which was developed jointly with the Chinese Dongfeng. Due to this, the hatchback needs to lose weight, which will affect fuel economy.
All other specifications of the Peugeot 208 are kept secret. Premiere of the car will take place next year. Will we see this model in the Russian market is still unknown. The current generation hatchback is not sold in Russia.
