July 12 in Saint-Petersburg on the territory of Kirov plant the fire started, which was rated the third number of complexity from five existing in the Russian Federation.
Then, the representative of the city emergency cupola, lit one-storey industrial building.
“On the outside wall of one-story plant for the manufacture of tractors the size of 500 by 200 metres of the combustion in the duct in the area of 50 square meters”, – reported in MOE.
At the emergency flew the fire-rescue helicopter Ka-32. In social networks appeared a lot of photo and video of black smoke rising above buildings of the plant.
Users have reported that after the fire started an hour were heard the sirens.
Fighting the flames are 25 combat crews — a total of 115 people.
Kirovsky Zavod is one of Russia’s largest industrial holding companies in mechanical engineering, is included in the list of strategic enterprises of the Russian Federation. Production and infrastructure facilities of the holding are located in St. Petersburg on an area of over 180 hectares in the Leningrad region and southern Russia.
On “the Kirov factory” has over six thousand employees.
