Peskov called Russia the “guarantor of the Minsk agreements”.
Press Secretary of the President Dmitry Peskov said that Russia is not a party to the conflict in the Donbass, and the guarantor of the Minsk agreements. Despite the fact that Moscow is not fulfilling the Minsk agreements, Peskov said that Russia wants a settlement of the conflict.
“Russia was and remains the guarantor of the Minsk agreements and continues the consistent line to the world-contribute to the implementation of the Minsk agreements by all the parties required to do it,” — said Peskov.
As previously stated the President of Russia Vladimir Putin, the Minsk agreements are a compromise to resolve the conflict in the Donbas.
