The highest volume of debts for the centralized heating and hot water.
The debt of the population for utilities (excluding gas and electricity) grew to 12.6 billion or 8.4% as of October 1, compared with the beginning of the year.
These data are reported in the Ministry of regional development, construction and housing and communal services.
The level of payment by the population for housing and communal services amounted to 105.2% with account of repayment of debt for past periods, 13.9% more compared with the year 2016.
The largest volume of debts for the centralized heating and hot water supply (UAH 7.1 bn or 56.1 per cent). For water and wastewater – UAH 2.1 billion or 16.5% of total debt.
Debt for maintenance of houses and adjoining areas made up slightly more than 3 billion UAH, for the export of household waste – 415,8 million (24.1% and 3.3% respectively).
Inhabitants of Kiev have the largest debt of 2.5 billion UAH, residents of Dnipropetrovsk (2.4 billion UAH) and Kharkiv (1.9 billion UAH) regions. The lowest amounts of debt – in the Volyn (49,0 million UAH), Khmelnytsky (UAH 65.3 million), Ternopil (62,5 million UAH) and Chernivtsi (38.7 million UAH) regions.
