Pension reform: Groisman announced the increase of pensions

The Prime Minister stressed that reform will be held in 2017.

Prime Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Groysman said that the pension reform will increase pensions for most citizens.

“I will offer a fair pension reform by Ukrainian citizens. You will see every one of you, who are now retired, how will it affect your pension and claim for the majority of Ukrainian citizens it will increase pensions”, – he said on ICTV on Monday.

V. Groisman said that the pension reform will allow to liquidate deficiency of the Pension Fund, and the funds will be directed on support of pensioners.

The Prime Minister stressed that reform will be held in 2017.

According to him, measures taken by the government, in particular, the increase in the minimum wage from 1 January, led to the growth of revenues to the Pension Fund by 30%.
