TV “penny Dreadful” ended after the third season, and for fans of the show it was quite unexpected and disappointing. But according to the show’s Creator John Logan, the story was originally conceived more as a short poem than a long epic.
However, fans should not be discouraged because they can still see their favorite heroes “Scary tales”, which have migrated into the comic format. Publisher Titan Comics previously released a self-titled mini-series that was a prequel to the television series Showtime, and now it begins the release of the sequel called “Scary tales: Awakening” (Penny Dreadful: The Awakening).
