Re-election Pavelko was held today the 20th Congress of the FFU. Pavelko was the only candidate for the position of head of the FFU and without problems received the required 50% of the votes – the candidate 41-year-old functionary supported all 95 members of Congress.
The term of office of the President of the football Federation of Ukraine increased from four years to five. This change spelled out in the new Charter FFU, which was unanimously approved by all members of Congress.
Pavelko led the football Federation of Ukraine in March 2015, succeeding former coach of the national team of Ukraine, a famous Soviet footballer Anatoliy Konkov. In may, the head of the FFU entered the FIFA disciplinary Committee, and two weeks ago won the position of Deputy head of the Legal Committee of UEFA.
