Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada Andriy Parubiy refused to disclose the list of coalition members, citing the lack of authority.
“The speaker has no powers to count on any members of the coalition or members of the opposition,” he told reporters in Drohobych.
Parubiy said that, in addition to two factions, the coalition includes many independent MPs.
“I don’t have enough data to call the number of these deputies,” – added the speaker.
The speaker considered the request of the faction “Fatherland” to publish the list of names of members of the coalition politicized and aimed at destabilizing the Verkhovna Rada with a view to early elections. This, in his opinion, “the Ukrainian scenario”, the purpose of which is to unbalance the authorities of Ukraine.
We will remind, a week ago, the faction “Batkivshchyna” sent a formal request to the speaker of Parliament with the requirement to publish a list of names of all MPs who are part of the coalition.
