In the elections to the National Assembly (lower house of Parliament) of France, the leader of movement “Forward, Republic of”. This is evidenced by the first data of the interior Ministry, which is responsible for organizing the voting and summarizing its results.

According to preliminary data, candidates of the movement Rules get in the country, 26.6% of votes. The largest opposition party in the Republicans gaining 16.4% of the votes, the “national front” marine Le Pen 14.4 per cent, “Rebellious France,” Jean-Luc Mélenchon — 10,2%, and the former ruling “socialist” party — 7.3%.
Meanwhile, the results only broadly reflect the whole picture: the elections to the national Assembly are held by the majority system, candidates are elected in single-member districts. To win in the first round, a candidate needs to win 50 percent of the vote. Where this does not happen, a week later, the second round of voting, which will be a simple majority.
