There are four steps for parents to overcome illegal levies in schools. The first of them – to unite.
This was stated by the head of the Main territorial administration of justice in Kiev, Stanislav Kutsenko.
“There are at least four stages in this situation. First: we need parents to unite and together to solve this problem. The second is to appeal to the leadership of the universities and to communicate what the situation is. If there is no understanding to go to local authorities and to find out that the budget for education. And the last is the law enforcement bodies”, – said Kutsenko.
“These are the four things that will help to resolve the situation. But I want to encourage the Ukrainians to parents, to act individually. This problem is often shared, collective. And when there are few parents who realize that there is much began to change and the system also needs to change,” – said the representative of the Department of justice.
Kutsenko said that now the country has introduced decentralization, and so the money schools are supposed to be.
“Now there is decentralization and, accordingly, local governments have much greater funds. And when you say that funds do not, this is not true. On the contrary, we can say that the Central authorities are somewhat poorer, since places are given funding. Therefore it is impossible to say that totally now there is no funding for education because the city, earn money and less return to the state budget of Ukraine. They remain on the ground,” – said Kutsenko.
