Pandas will live in Berlin for 15 years and then return home.
The Berlin zoo is not crowded. Visitors are coming from and going to see Chinese miracle – opened Grand garden pandas.
Two pandas arrived by special flight from China in the beginning of last week and quickly settled on a new territory. Man-man, which means “Sweet dream” and Jiao Jing his name translates as “Expensive” to live in Berlin for 15 years and then return home. Pandas have provided a choice of 10 kinds of bamboo, six of them the animals like it. Each day the bears eat at least 30 kg of his favorite food.
“They were good to eat and drink from the beginning. And not just food from China, but ours too. It is very important to us. After all, the Chinese bamboo, we have a limited number, only one ton”, – said the Director of Berlin zoo Andreas Knierim.
