Oschadbank has launched a mobile payment application Oshchad PAY for contactless payments with smartphones.
This was reported by the press service of the financial institution.
It is noted that such developments in Ukraine is only at a few banks.
“To use the application Oshchad users can PAY cards Visa and MasterCard from the Bank. Just download the app in PlayMarket, add the map (several maps) of Oschadbank and pay at terminals that support contactless payment technology,” – said in the message.
The app is available for mobile devices with Android operating system 4.4 and above, equipped with a module NFC (Near Field Communication) and HCE (Host Card Emulation). Information about payment cards stored in a secure encrypted form. The payment application is protected with a password.
NFC is a technology for wireless communication, which enables data exchange between devices at a distance up to 10 cm.
