In the Donetsk region, the Special monitoring mission of the OSCE noted the increase in the number of cases of violation of ceasefire regime, including more than 1 200 explosion. This is stated in the report for 24 Feb.
The OSCE noted that earlier there were about 460 explosions.
“Approximately one thousand explosions were registered in the area of the triangle Avdeevka-Yasinovataya-Donetsk airport”, – said the OSCE.
Shortly before midnight in the night from 23 to 24 February, the chamber of the CMM in Avdeevka (17 km North of Donetsk) recorded 51 explosion of uncertain origin and 10 rounds (seven of which are from North-West to South-East, one from North to South, one from South-West to North-East and another from South to West).
“Fire activity began with six explosions of uncertain origin and three shells from North-West to South-East. All these violations of the cease-fire was observed in the 4-7 km East-South-East”, – noted in a press-service of the mission.
The next day observers were in the occupied Yasinovataya (16 km North-East of Donetsk city centre) for approximately five hours, 355 heard explosions in the distance from 3 to 9 km in the sector from South-West to North-North-West.
While patrolling in the town for more than four hours, the team heard explosions 290 of uncertain origin in the 1-6 km to the South-East and 130 explosions of uncertain origin in the 3-7 km to the southwest.
The evening of February 23 in occupied Gorlovka (39 km North-East of Donetsk) the SMM heard eight explosions, which, according to observers, occurred as a result of artillery fire in the 6-8 km to the West.
The evening of February 23 in the occupied Debaltsevo (58 km North-East of Donetsk), the mission team heard 55 explosions of uncertain origin in 5-7 km to the South-West.
