Opel will present several new models.
The company Opel presented its first plug-in hybrid. They became the Grandland X crossover with Hybrid4 powertrain as the Peugeot 3008.
New Opel Grandland X Hybrid4 is equipped with a 300-horsepower power plant on the basis of “turboservice” 1.6 PureTech. The same used in the Peugeot 3008. It engine complemented by two electric motors: the first is connected with vosmidiapazonnym “automatic”, the second with inverter and gearbox mounted on the rear axle. Has them mounted under the rear row of seats battery with a capacity of 13.2 kWh. On electric Grandland X Hybrid4 can drive up to 50 kilometers on cycle WLTP – another 10 per cent extra mileage ensures recovery system.
The power unit operates in four modes: electric, hybrid, forced activation of both motors and sports. In the hybrid driving profile, the system automatically selects the most eco-friendly mode of operation and is able to switch to electric when entering the city centre. The charging time depends on the type of terminal, for example, from the wall of 7.4-kilowatt device battery can be filled in one hour 50 minutes.
Buyers Opel Grandland X Hybrid4 will get access to 85 of thousands of charging station throughout Europe, which are included in the network Free2Move Services, and route planner, taking into account the location of the terminal and the current power consumption.
Over the next 20 months, Opel will present several new models, each of which will receive the battery version. The new Corsa, Zafira Life, Vivaro van and also the successor of the Mokka SUV.
