Apple has received a patent for the appearance of the iPhone 6 in October 2016.
Apple received on Tuesday, July 4, the patent for the design of the iPhone 6. Document published on the website of the Bureau on registration of patents and trademarks USA (USPTO).
Indicates that the application was filed on 22 September 2016. Among the authors of the invention includes jony Ive and other Apple employees. The document shows a schematic image of the smartphone from different angles.
It is worth noting that Apple has received a patent for the appearance of the iPhone 6 in October 2016. Then application was filed on 5 September, 2014, four days before the presentation of the smartphone. The new document differs in that the internal elements of the case are highlighted by dashed lines, which “are not part of the claimed design.”
iPhone 6 was presented on 9 September 2014 and was different from the previous smartphones modified design. Along with it the company first announced the Plus version of the apparatus with a larger display. It was discontinued on 7 September 2016, after the release of the iPhone 7.
