On Titan found a bubbling sea

Titan one and a half times larger than the moon in diameter and almost doubled in weight.

Planetary scientists from France and Mexico showed that on Titan, the largest moon of Saturn, are the bubbling sea. A study published in the journal Nature Astronomy.

The formation of bubbles in the methane-atanovich seas of the moon happens, scientists believe, due to the ingress of nitrogen. This is due to the intensive release of nitrogen dissolved in liquid methane and ethane that occurs when small changes in temperature and atmospheric pressure.

The findings of scientists confirm the observations made with scientific instruments RADAR (Radio Detection and Ranging) station to Cassini. Previously, scientists have come to similar conclusions, modelling in laboratory conditions the formation of bubbles on Titan.

In the present study Saturn and its satellites are carried out by the automatic station Cassini. The mission should be completed by 15 September 2017, the closest recent flyby of Titan will occur on April 22.
