Repair of power unit No. 3 of the Rivne nuclear power plant was extended to April 1.

“In connection with the increase in scope of work, duration of current repairs of power unit 3 of the Rovno NPP (WWER-1000) has been extended until April 1, according to operational application”, – stated in the message.
It is reported that on March 25 the unit 1 NPP (VVER-440) is disconnected from the power grid the operation of the automatic gas protection of the block transformer T-1, while fires and other violations of fire safety was not.
As at 8 o’clock on April 26 in the work are of three power units of Rivne NPP with total load of 1655 MW. Comments on the operation of the main equipment of operating power units and staff there. Violations of limits and conditions of safe operation was not.
Radiation, fire and environmental condition at the RNPP and the surrounding area has not changed and is within the current rules.
