The explosion killed one Georgian border guard.
On the border of Georgia and Russia, an explosion occurred which killed one Georgian border guard, two others were injured.
This is with reference to the press service of the Ministry of internal Affairs of Georgia reports “news-Georgia”.
According to preliminary data, the cause of the explosion was the ignition of a gas cylinder.
The victims of the guards immediately hospitalized in the Burn center of the University clinic name, Khechinashvili.
“Two patients – guards at the age of 44 and 26 years, are in intensive care. Condition of both is critical. They have damaged the respiratory tract and observed shock from burns”, – said the head of the University clinic Guga Kashibadze.
It is noted that upon explosion criminal case under article “causing of less serious or grievous bodily harm by negligence” that is punishable by a fine or correctional labor for a term up to two years.
