The government of the Russian Federation proposed to limit the number of migrants at construction sites 80% of the total number of workers. However, Moscow, Khabarovsk Krai and Amur oblast have decided not to include.
Deputy Prime Minister Tatiana Golikova at a meeting of the Russian tripartite Commission on regulation socially-labour relations on Friday said that the government aims to reduce the use of migrant labour in the construction sector. It is proposed to limit the share of foreign workers at 80%.
In total , according to Rosstat, in the construction sector employed 6.3 million people, of whom a significant proportion are migrants.
If the resolution is adopted, the proportion of workers will be limited strip of 80% to 2019.
The shortage of workers, the government hopes to fill by the Russians.
However, it became known that the input will cover three regions – Moscow, the Khabarovsk territory and Amur region. For them, the allowable percentage will remain the same – 100%.
