Omeljan told how much emergency bridges in Ukraine

We will repair 45 bridges.

The Minister of infrastructure Vladimir Omelian notes that 6 thousand bridges on the balance of Ukravtodor, the thousand are in critical condition and another 2.5 thousand in need of repair.

He stated in the television broadcast.

“On the balance of Ukravtodor after the reforms, from 1 January this year, is about 6 thousand bridges, a thousand of them in critical condition and another 2.5 thousand in need of repair. This is a serious challenge before the country, as these bridges are really more of a strategic that combine not just settlements but entire main directions in the country”, – said the Minister.

He added that about 10 thousand bridges are on balance of regions and cities.

At the same time, he noted that this year we will repair 45 bridges in the framework of the program of restoration of the pavement infrastructure of Ukraine.

“It will be spent 2.3 billion hryvnia,” – he stressed.
