The Minister added that the other road was free of defects.
“Last year, when we have repaired thousands of kilometers of roads, each road is repaired the warranty depending on the type of overhaul 5 or 10 years. These roads we check, defects are detected,” – said the Minister.
According to the Omelyan, poor condition of roads in Ukraine is a consequence of underfunding of the industry for decades.
“The problem is that the roads really destroyed – 95% of Ukrainian roads unsuitable for normal ride and it is a system thing. The sector is chronically underfunded for decades. What we see after each winter – an indication that the road is not repaired, go into the winter unprepared and with holes during the winter blown to pieces,” said Omeljan.
The Minister also Omeljan urged to contact the hotline in case of detection of cases of repair of roads during the rain.
