WTI is trading above $ 55 per barrel.
Oil prices reference marks rise on Thursday, 16 November, after declining a day earlier, almost to two-week lows after the publication of the data about unexpected growth of stocks of oil and gasoline in the United States.
The January futures for Brent oil at the London ICE Futures exchange to 7.11 in Kiev has risen to (or 0.19%) to $61,99 per barrel. Quotes of WTI oil futures for December on Thursday morning has grown on 0,09% – to$, i.e. 55.38 a barrel.
According to the U.S. Department of energy, the oil reserves in the country over the past week increased by 1.85 million barrels, gasoline – by 894 thousand barrels. Experts polled by S&P Global Platts, on average, had expected a decline of stocks of both oil and gasoline by 1 million barrels for the week.
Distillate stocks decreased by 799 thousand barrels under the forecast of experts, the decline of 2 million barrels.
Oil reserves in Cushing, where the NYMEX-traded oil fell last week by 1.5 million barrels, said the energy Ministry.
Oil production in the U.S. last week rose 0.26% to 9,645 million barrels per day. The country increased its imports of oil to 521 thousand barrels per day, export – 260 thousand b/d.
