The public debut of the model should take place at the Geneva motor show on 7 March this year.
The first image of Sportura McLaren, which should become the successor of 650S leaked to the Internet. As reported by Motor1, originally the appeared on Bloomberg, but was later removed from there. The novelty has received name 720s, previously, the model was known under the index P14.
Car built on the chassis Control II, which will allow drivers to choose between three drive modes (Comfort, Sport or Track). The car will retain the familiar design of the front. The body of the new sports car will be made of carbon. P14 McLaren will use the Monocage monocoque II, which is made of carbon fiber. Due to this construction, the weight of the novelties will be only 1283 pounds.
The novelty will receive a petrol 4.0-litre V8 engine. With this unit up to 200 km/h the car will accelerate in 7.8 seconds. The engine power will exceed 650 horsepower.
Inside the car will set foldable numeric keypad, which can be transformed into a small display. The small screen shows only the necessary driver information. The position of the dashboard will change depending on the selected driving mode. There are provided three Comfort, Sport and Track.

The model range of the brand’s sports car will be replacing the 650S and 675L. It will be limited edition and will be competing for buyers with the Ferrari 488 GTB and the Lamborghini Huracan.
