An earthquake of magnitude 5.8 occurred East of the coast of North Korea in the sea of Japan. It is reported by the US Geological survey (USGS).
The epicenter of the tremors lies at a depth of 537,6 km.
Information on possible victims and destructions did not arrive.
Pentagon spokesman Jamie Davis said that the earthquake off the coast of Korea was not caused by nuclear weapons tests, Reuters reports. Experts made this conclusion on the depth of the hearth quake and its location.
