Meeting going to be held in Moscow.
Russia is ready to organize in Moscow a meeting of President of Palestine Mahmoud Abbas and Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu. This was stated on Tuesday by Deputy permanent representative to the UN Vladimir Safronkov at the meeting of the Security Council.
According to him, in the face of rising tensions around the Holy places of Jerusalem must be “not only to stabilize the current situation”, but “to open real political horizons for the Palestinian-Israeli peace process through direct negotiations of the parties on a generally recognized international legal basis.”
