Of the Navy of Ukraine has been replenished with American boats

The composition of the naval forces of Ukraine entered the U.S. in the recent past-class patrol boats Island — “Slavic” and “Starobilsk”, as well as search-and-rescue vessel “Alexander Okhrimenko”.

The American side was represented by Advisor to the Chairman of the US diplomatic mission Joseph Pennington.

Built for the U.S. Coast guard court have a displacement of 169 tons, a cruising range of 3,300 nautical miles (6,100 km) and can reach speeds up to 29.5 knots (55 km/h).

Soon the Pentagon will give Ukraine a further three boat — USCGC Ocracoke (WPB-1307), USCGC Washington (WPB-1331) and USCGC Kiska (WPB-1336).
