Minister of energy Igor Nasalik did not rule out the termination of water supply of the occupied territories of Donbass.
Water supply in the occupied territories Luhansk and Donetsk regions can be stopped. This was stated after the government meeting Minister of energy and coal industry of Ukraine Igor Nasalik.
The uncontrolled territory of Donbass can be disconnected from water supply due to debts of Ukrainian utility, as well as due to the termination of the supply of anthracite coal at the station, ensuring supply.
“One of the issues to be discussed in Minsk today, is, including we with one hand on the center of the city can’t put the anthracite coal, we have no supply routes, in addition to uncontrolled areas or from Russia. And then we have to shut off the water utility,” said Nasalik.
Today Deputy Minister of the temporarily occupied territories and IDPs George Tooke stated that the disabling of certain districts of Luhansk region (ORLO) from the power supply means to stop work, According to the water utility as a source of power flows.
The state enterprise NEC Ukrenergo in the night of April 25, 2017 fully stopped the supply of energy to temporarily uncontrolled territories of the Luhansk region.
